Hello! I’m Claudia A. Escobar, a Colombian visual artista based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I create documentary films, lyrical non-fiction videos, animations, and video journalism. Through illustration, I explore the magical world of the invisible beings that coexist with us throughout life.

As the director of the lyrical immigration documentary Dear Homeland, produced by KQED, I remain curious about life, the magic around us, and both human and natural migration. I find excitement in experimenting and collaborating with others. I enjoy re-creating myself, challenging my own theories, and continually reinventing how I approach the world.
